So, what's working and what's not working! I went thru my company to one of the first meeting for Thermage. Plastic surgeons from all over the world were attending. Some were saying that it's really working. It seems it's a treatment for skin that was available, long time ago and was discarded. What do you think? I feel peels help, although a lot of women are allergic to Alpha Hydroxy. Some friends swear by the IPL? What's your opinion?

Thermage works for some, but I have never really seen any great results. The early heads were very painful. The company has seen some hard times. Thermage and Fraxel are now under Soltra Medical.
My personal opinion is save your money. You can achieve great results today with Botox, and injectables, plus Laser. Fraxel and laser increase the collagen production and will change the texture of the skin, decrease fine lines, and eliminate age spots. There are lots of peels out there that contain other lactic acids which are not as irritating. Retinols are the key to great skin.

I have not had great results with IPL, I think you can achieve those results through peels, retinols and HQ creams. IPL is costly and you need several treatments to see results. If you get IPL0- don;t go to a chain medi-spa. Those machines are rigged and do not achieve the same results as going to a MD.
